Highlights include routes such as the Gilbo Route, which offers impressive views of the reservoir and surrounding peaks, and the Valde\u00f3n Route, which connects with the famous Picos de Europa National Park.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Palentina Mountain is another jewel of the Cantabrian mountain range. This area is known for its rugged landscapes, high peaks and remarkable biodiversity. This impressive route, also known as the \u00abDivine Throat\u00bb, follows the course of the Cares River, crossing mountainous landscapes of unparalleled beauty.<\/p><p>The trail extends for about 12 kilometers, connecting the towns of Ca\u00edn, in Le\u00f3n, and Poncebos, in Asturias.
